Barbara Rose Sherman

Barbara Rose Sherman is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mindful Business Works™. She is a UCLA Trained Mindfulness Facilitator and a UCLA MAPs (Mindful Awareness Practices) Affiliated Teacher. In her personal development programs, Barbara delivers her expertise, passion and power to motivate. Her broad background in facilitating stress reduction and mindfulness programs for more than 20 years includes: developing and leading corporate wellness programs, leading yoga and meditation workshops, conducting wellness retreats and teaching classes. She has facilitated programs for the Santa Barbara Braille Institute and the City of Santa Barbara Department of Public Works. Barbara has helped thousands of individuals enhance their overall performance and well-being in the work place and become healthier, happier and more successful in all aspects of life.

Barbara earned a B.S. degree from the University of Southern California. She received her Trained in Mindfulness Facilitation education from the Semel Institute of Neuroscience at UCLA. She is co-author of the college textbook, Yoga for the Joy of It!. Barbara is a Yoga Alliance Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (EYT-500). With over 23 years of teaching experience, she brings extensive knowledge of the pressures of work life along with her great warmth to uplift and inspire individuals to achieve greatness. Barbara is known and respected for her life-changing and transformational programs.
